アメリカ海軍（US NAVY）にて1987年に官給された、実物のユーティリティ・シャンブレーシャツです。
この年代のミリタリーシャンブレーは「コットン×ポリエステル」の混紡生地が一般的ですが、こちらは船上での火災を想定して作られた「100%コットン×難燃加工（FLAME RETARDANT）」の希少な『TYPE II』仕様。
ポプリン調のドライでタフな質感ながら、コットン特有の肌馴染みの良さと、これからのエイジング（色落ち）が非常に楽しみな一着です。
そして何よりのスペシャルポイントは、袖に施された「一等兵曹（Petty Officer 1st Class）」の黒ステンシル。パッチ（ワッペン）ではなく、直にスタンプされた無骨な佇まいは圧倒的な雰囲気を放っています。
